Blue is soft spoken and tentative. She learned how to perform transformations from her creator, 007, and takes great care in making sure the transformation brings peace to the new esk. She is open to doing transformations, but she becomes extremely upset if the resulting esk is a trespasser. She enjoys interacting with the esks she transforms and considers them as great friends. She performs transformations commonly on creatures close to death or dying, or other situations similar to her own circumstances around her own transformation. She does not typically transform objects. Her transformations are a significant event with the intention to honor the esk. They feel like falling asleep when you're entire body is exhausted.

Xiaying welcomes the opportunity to do transformations and is always honored to give others the gift of a second life. It is rare for her to deny performing a transformation, as she understands that most that require one, have their own reason for doing so regardless of whether she understands or supports it. She is highly interested in an esks history, and more often than not, tidbits of these stories appear in her artwork. Her transformations are like drinking warm tea on cold afternoons. They are comforting and meant to be.

Miri is kind of a mixed bag with transformations, as she’s struggling to learn how to do the process well. While she understands that transforming an esk is significant, she has performed transformations on a whim or strong emotion in the past, and this has resulted in a complicated relationship with the new esk. These instances weigh heavily on her and are a large negative impact on her well being. Overall, transformations from Miri largely depend on the mentality and intention of their previous form. She is extremely hesitant and will often refuse to transform those with malicious intent, as she tends to avoid creating esks that could be trespassers. Her transformations are often performed with high anxiety that result in a feeling of nauseating vertigo throughout the process.

Whisper's transformations are a far, far cry from anything resembling a pleasant experience. Everything about her form is designed to lure and trap creatures within her boundary. Her methods are a wide variety of cunning and mimic a predator hunting prey. She frequently transforms those who do not want a transformation at all and greatly enjoys trapping them into an esk form. After all, misery loves company. Frequently, the resulting esk from her transformations are trespassers, since she doesn't usually transform anything that wants to become an esk (that’s less fun for her). Transformations from Whisper are akin to experiencing sleep paralysis while tripping on LSD.

Q really has absolutely no idea what they are doing, and their transformations reflect as much. If they’re asked to do a transformation, they will perform one, if they see someone in need, they’ll perform one, if they see a shiny object, they’ll transform it. They don’t really have any requirements about them, but they do work hard to have a good relationship with the resulting esk (to the point where it can be annoying) since this is something they lack with their creator. They are always good intentioned even if they are always confused. Transformations feel like accidents (but happy ones).

Rere has had a bumpy transformation road, and as a result, she avoids performing them now. Her first creator accidentally condemned her to a life she despised, and for her re-transformation, her second creator purposefully allowed her to keep a handicap that hinders her freedom. Both experiences left Rere puzzled over the transformation process as a whole, and thus, she is uncomfortable performing them out of fear for recreating the mistakes made in her own history.

Isi is a very skilled transformer and has perfected the practice into an art form. She is a master at crafting her own energy to tailor the transformation to the esk, creature, or object who desires it. She greatly enjoys transforming things that will have a defined purpose so she can watch them grow and develop afterwards. She is a innately kind mentor, but she can be somewhat demanding. She wants to see the resulting esk be the absolute best that they can be, and she is keen on pushing esk to challenge themselves and face personal challenges. Her transformations are like falling into blossoms during the most spectacular spring.

Whistle moves about his life with his own purpose; all the while keeping a close eye on the happenings in his biome. He is an old soul and knows the workings of everything on his mountain. He understands the environment is both captivating ad dangerous and has transformed many esks that have been caught ill-prepared near his boundary. Whistle is a good, albeit quiet, mentor that teaches through experience. His transformations feel like watching dusk fade into night.

Downsweep is a chaotic being with scattered intentions and focus. They were transformed long ago by Makoa back when the seas were young, and they do not have a fond feeling for their creator. Downsweep felt abandoned when they first became an esk, and Makoa's indifference and generally ambivalent attitude infuriates her. Because of this, their transformations are few and far between and are done with little practice. Transformations from Downsweep are either given deep consideration beforehand or with little planning at all. Transformations from them, because it is no a common activity for them, feel like being caught in a riptide.

As a human, the Seer lived in a tight knit community that fiercely believed in supporting one another. This ideology pervades in their esk life, and animals or humans that seek transformations are openly received. The Seer performs transformations with great care as their creator had taught them. Their transformations are vivid journeys through time and stories told long ago. They will often visit transformed esk when traveling, thus, their journey through the arid biome takes the longest out of their continuous trek.

Cricket is a quiet soul who prefers to watch and learn instead of actively seek. She does not actively seek others to perform transformations, and since she is a young esk, she doesn't feel comfortable performing them at this time. She feels she has much to learn about this type of living, and she is content to focus on developing herself and purpose before actively aiding others.
